Sample questions from this week's game

True or False: Sarah laughed when she heard God's promise that she would have a son in her old age.

Genesis 18:12

Show answer

True — True! Genesis 18:12 tells us Sarah 'laughed within herself' at the seemingly impossible promise. But God responded with one of the most powerful questions in scripture: 'Is any thing too hard for the Lord?' (Genesis 18:14). Isaac's name even means 'laughter' — God turned her doubt into joy!

You're Abraham. God promised you a son, and after decades of waiting, Isaac was finally born. Now God asks you to offer Isaac as a sacrifice. Your heart is breaking. What do you do?

Genesis 22:1-3

Show answer

Trust God completely and obey, knowing He can make all things right — Abraham's willingness to sacrifice Isaac is considered the greatest test of faith in scripture. He had waited decades for Isaac, and now God asked for him back. But Abraham trusted that God could even raise Isaac from the dead if necessary (Hebrews 11:17-19). His obedience mirrors God the Father's willingness to sacrifice His own Son.
