True — True! Isaiah 25:8 is one of the most hope-filled prophecies in scripture. Through the Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, death itself will be conquered — 'swallowed up in victory.' And God will personally wipe away every tear. Paul quoted this verse in 1 Corinthians 15:54, connecting it directly to Christ's Resurrection.

He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it. — This verse is one of the most triumphant declarations in all of scripture. Death — the ultimate enemy — will be 'swallowed up.' Not just defeated, not just pushed back, but completely consumed. And the tender detail that God will personally wipe tears from faces shows that our grief doesn't go unnoticed. He sees every tear and promises to dry them all.
